Centracs MMS is used for a midtown traffic operations program to track all inventory, and record maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities

The Georgia Department of Transportation outsources the operations and maintenance of most of the traffic signals throughout the Atlanta Metropolitan area through several different contract mechanisms. The Midtown Traffic Operations Program (MTOP) is a cluster of approximately 100 intersections located in the Midtown area of Atlanta. Jacobs Engineering, the lead contractor, selected Econolite Systems to deploy the Centracs Maintenance Management System to track all inventory, and record maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities. In addition to deploying the system, Econolite trained all of Jacobs and subconsultant staff, in addition to City and GDOT maintenance personnel.
