Basic Information

Traffic signal controllers are at the heart of any intelligent transportation system (ITS). The importance of controllers is undeniable, especially when motorists and pedestrians alike approach a non-controlled intersection during heavy traffic conditions. Operating on the front lines of signalized intersections for nearly a century, Econolite's state-of-the-art controllers are backed by a long history of innovation, including the first electromechanical fixed-time controller, the first digital-actuated controller, the first microprocessor-based controller, and the first NEMA TS2 controller.

The Econolite ASC/3 is the Company's latest offering of Advanced System Controllers, building upon Econolite's long history of proven software and hardware designs, and the unique feature set of the popular Econolite ASC/2 Series of controllers.
